It’s now a year since our new Rosa Cottage welcomed the first guests and what a phenomenal year it has been. We had a few concerns that making Rosa bigger wouldn’t necessarily mean better but the resounding opinion proves that we made the right decisions and actually wish we had the builders in years ago! Rosa has welcomed 350 guests over the past year spread over 63 different bookings and we’ve had overwhelmingly wonderful feedback. It has made the stress of a time limited build all very worthwhile. The only downside being that we don’t spend enough time there ourselves! Some of our visitors from this past year have already booked their third visit and are awaiting our 2020 prices to pop up to get their dates inked in early. Keep your eye on our prices page on this website as we publish new prices in June for the following year. Also last summer we had one of the best summers on record with hot and sunny days making Brancaster Beach a very attractive place to be. Let’s hope for more of the same. The cold wet days of the winter of 2017/18 when we were building seem like a lifetime ago. The Beast from the East which stopped play for a worrying amount of time didn’t beat us in the end, our project finished right on cue and exactly as planned. Here’s to another great year at Rosa Cottage with lots more lovely guests visiting who we hope will enjoy our Brancaster holiday home just as much as we do.

Our local North Norfolk Coast eateries continue to go from strength to strength. The Ship in Brancaster, on our doorstep, has new owners with some exciting new options on the menu, the Deli at Thornham is incredibly popular as is Eric’s Fish & chips where take away or eat in is offered. The Orange Tree at Thornham and The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe are as good as ever. Burnham Market has added to its already excellent choice of restaurants with North Street Bistro, No 29 Bar & Restaurant and Socius all getting great feedback. Just beware in Burnham Market now, the street parking is limited to 45 minutes so don’t get caught out, use the car park!
