Rosa Cottage – Brancaster Holiday Home

We have welcomed hundreds of lovely people to our Brancaster home, many returning time after time and whilst we were sorry to see old Rosa go, our new Rosa is now complete and welcoming guests past and new. We love the location, very peaceful yet close to the heart of the village so moving wasn’t an option.

Rosa has grown into a modern and beautiful new property for up to 8 guests.

• Bedroom 1 – Kittiwake – a kingsize bed with ensuite shower room
• Bedroom 2 – Dove – a double bed with bathroom/shower room
• Bedroom 3 – Teal – a twin room with bathroom/shower room
• Bedroom 4 – Seagull – mezzanine double

There is a fabulous new kitchen, dining and living area overlooking the south facing garden, complimented with bifold doors, opening onto the sunny patio and a full height vaulted ceiling. The sleeping gallery offers far reaching views over the open countryside and wonderful sunsets.

There are two well-stocked general stores within two miles of Rosa Cottage which stands at the end of a pretty, very narrow lane with open farmland to the South and West. The lane is part of the North Norfolk Coastal path and all that you are likely to see passing the door are walkers, dogs and the occasional vehicle. The village pub offers good food and welcomes children and dogs, in addition there are numerous other high quality restaurants on your doorstep. There is a sailing school at Brancaster Staithe and the Royal West Norfolk Golf Course is at Brancaster. Burnham Market is about 4 miles away and has around 40 attractive shops.

Rosa Cottage was purchased by us in 2004 and is our home from home. You may find tea, coffee, etc. in the cupboards, which you are welcome to use provided that you replace it before you depart. There is a Smart TV and DVD player to make your stay more enjoyable. If you need to keep in touch with the world outside of Norfolk, free Wireless Broadband is available.

Well-behaved children and dogs (a strict maximum of 2) are very welcome. Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms.  Smoking is strictly prohibited in the cottage. Most importantly, it is less than a mile to walk to our beautiful beach!
