I needed to pop down to Brancaster to do a few tasks on our changeover day last Friday and it’s wonderful to arrive and find not just a thank you card from our departing guests but also a home that our guests had taken such good care of! Nothing missing, nothing damaged and a visitors’ book full of lovely comments and this is what makes renting out our lovely Rosa Cottage worthwhile. It doesn’t always work this well but it’s great when it does! With not too many jobs needing doing, even the weeds had stayed away, I had time to spend half an hour on Brancaster Beach watching the world go by. I usually go for a long walk along the shoreline but today decided to sit on the rocks by the beach entrance and soak up some sun. It was fascinating listening to people’s comments as they stepped out onto Brancaster Beach and see the surprise on their faces. Clearly quite a few had never been here before, here are just a few……..
Oh my word, I thought Wells and Holkham were amazing but just look at this…..

I knew we should have come for longer, we’re going to have to come back here….
and there aren’t any words to explain the excitement of the 13 year old chocolate Labrador when he saw the sea!

16 August 2019 Wow, we loved “original Rosa” but now we have “a whole lotta Rosa”. From the moment we walked in we felt at home but in a luxury 5* kind of way, stunning. We enjoyed a sunset from the mezzanine, long beautiful walks every day, a great takeaway curry from North Gate in Hunstanton, fish and chips from Wells and also Eric’s at Drove Orchard, both fab and lots of cooking in your lovely new kitchen, plus a BBQ! Thank you. Poppy dog has had a memory making holiday, in the sea every day, lots of new furry friends and being spoilt rotten at The Ship, The Hero, The White Horse and various other dog friendly pubs. She definitely wants to come back!
